I'm not adventurous when it comes of tasting food which are not familiar to me. Thought change when I've tried one....ow no two of their famous exotic food. :-)

Pahiyas Festival 2011

Last May 15, 2011 me and my fellow young professional photographer went out for a photo-walk at Lucban, Quezon Province in there prestigious Pahiyas Festival. This is my first time to joined this kind of event and I was very excited about it. We leave Manila past 3 in the morning and we got there around 7 in the morning.

The Pahiyas Festival is celebrated during the feast day of the town's patron saint San Isidro Labrador. This is the day of Thanksgiving to its patron saint. They decorates there houses with fruits, vegetables and the harvest of the town.
Kiping is the most famous of all it is made of rice flour and a colored thin sheet shaped like a leave it can also be eaten after grilled in a flame with oil.

They called this Kiping.

I do had a great time in this Pahiyas, 2011 though 'twas very hot and need to walked longer than I think still it pays with so much satisfactions.

O oww....how do we call the baby lizard? Hmm they say: "hatchling"...ehehe anyway I just met a new friend today. He just came out of his shell a minute ago and he is so cute...I wanted to be the first one to have his photos...so presto I did some shots! It's cool its minimizes my boredom and intense heat inside home.

They say lizards are relatives of dinosaurs...hmm sounds scary. Actually they belong to the family of reptiles. "Ovoviviporous is the correct scientific term for animals that carry the eggs internally and upon delivery of the offspring the entire shell structure has thinned to the point that only the thin mucous membrane remains from which the offspring emerges because no whitish shell structure is seen and the membrane is sometimes broken through by the time the baby is fully delivered by the mother, people often assume that these babies were born live."

Well so much for this I want to introduce my new found friend I call him "Baby Liz" ehehe cool right?

Lola Charing's 90th Birthday

Last April 11, 2011 Lola Charing's celebrates her 90th birthday at Villa Marina's Resort, Cavite. It's been a privileged for me to attend a birthday party like this because not every one celebrates nor will this kind of event in our life.

Looking on her gray hair, lines on her delicate face and skin that already shrinks due of ageing...truly we can never escape, but in-spite of that great confidence I see, something that younger women can never really have like older women had. The happiness and sorrow, the riches of her youth, the ups and downs of her life that made her a better person indeed; and that "confidence" inspires me as well. I admire her a lot and that admirations inspire me to go and spread my wings and fly and do things that need to be done in this life. So I can say when I reach that certain stage of my life as well that I've done things in my own way not in other people want me to live.

Happy happy 90th Birthday Lola I wish you will live long life more...and may GOD continue to bless you like you always did to others

TUM: My Pledge Of Love

I have been invited by my best friend Earth on the special screening of the movie TUM: My Pledge Of Love a film directed and produced by Robin Padilla, last March 30, 2011 at SM Centerpoint Sta. Mesa, together with the different youth organization and representatives from Muslim community.

"TUM" a Hindu word means "YOU." The story was about love, culture, and religion that basically divides people. A captivating love story of the main character (Ravaan) Robin Padilla a Muslim-Indian who happens to inherit every wealth of their family in one condition he must marry a Christian-Filipina women (Linda) Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla there the story begin. Can love survives in-spite of traditional culture and solidarity of religion differences?

This filmed was a first directorial job of Robin Padilla and I can as a first timer he is definitely did it very well. TUM stars Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez- Padilla, Queenie Padilla and Ejay Falcon. This movie was rated B. Most of the scenes was shot in India and some part of the Philippines. The costumes design and their make-up was fantastic! Well, better see this film showing on April 6, 2011.

New faces, new friends, new experiences and a hidden talent discovered to be enhance! Good thing I didn't sleep early that night I won a Free Basic Photography Workshop from PhotoWorld Manila In Federation of the Philippines Photographers Foundation Incorporation (FPPF). Wow it was a great day for me I'm very honored to be in the family of great Philippines Photographers learning their styles, skills and understanding the world of Photography in a more distinctive way.

Funny thing way back old days I remember I actually don't like when my friends are taking pictures with me I only love shooting their photos in nice angle, but I didn't realized that I will love photography so much and turned into a passion! Who knows I'll make it big someday. As of now all I know is I'm enjoying it so much and I'm having fun together with my new friends that stand as my great critics.

I have never been a smoker so I wonder why smoker can't quit into smoking. It annoys me when people smoked near with me and after smoking talks with me it's like an "eww" I hate the smell its so disturbing for me.

My Strange Dream

Lately I was bothered about this dream it's actually kept on coming and coming like a pattern. I dreamed that I arrived with a place which was new to me and even their language seems to be so unfamiliar. I was holding a new born child and I walked close to some people and suddenly I wanted to put that new born child on a sticky brown soil when someone stops me...a man with no clear reflection wearing a peculiar all black dress, long black coat, black cape with a black round hat. I don't know that men as well his language, but he talks to me sincerely and I agree in everything he says and then I carry the baby and go with him and walk to massive crowd.

Strange dream it was and I wonder why I kept on dreaming on it like a pattern.

During the early civilization according to the Bible God speaks to his people in their vivid dreams, but pretty sure expert has its own theories of dream.

Whatever it was it doesn't really matter to me, but question pops into my mind "Do we really dream in order to forget? Or do we dream in order to remember?." Hmmm guess we really need to pray before going to sleep to keep us safe on those harmful or harmless "Dream" that experts used to call "hallucinations while sleeping!".

Paranoia is a term used by mental health professionals to describe exaggerating or very suspicious or mistrust. It is a persistent behavior involving a feeling that people, things, or event are against you.
It can bring out the worst in usually good people; It destroys family and friendships; Ruins career and business.

There are several possible causes of Paranoia:

Genetic people with schizophrenic relatives are more prone to paranoia and other mental disorders.

Biological it maybe linked to abnormal brain chemistry. It can be also caused by a medical condition such as brain tumor or head injury. People over 45 are also more prone to medical disorders that lead to paranoid behavior.
Drugs and medication abuse drug abuses can also lead to paranoia. cocaine, amphetamines, marijuana, or other stimulants can worsen or lead to paranoid behavior.
Environment people raised to be overly suspicious and distrustful to others. Working or living with high level of stress encourage paranoia. People put in a new highly stressful situation can experience "acute paranoia."

Signs that you are paranoid: People can experience paranoia differently. It can be mild enough to allow the person to function or severe paranoia that can cut off the individual from the rest of society.

Exaggerated suspicious People with paranoia cannot abandon their fears. They expect to be tricked by others even by family and friends.
Distance away from society Because of their social fears, they avoid getting emotionally involved with others. They find it hard to form intimate relationships.
Too sensitive and defensive They are "hyper alert". They notice the smallest changes in personality, attitude and get offended easily. They are usually people who can't accept blame for their own faults. Mild criticism can end a relationship with a paranoid.
Delusions Delusions are distinct from culturally or religiously based beliefs that may be seen as untrue by outsiders. There are certain categories: (1) Feelings of persecution- they suspected people spreading rumors or make fun of them. (2) Jealousy- Overly jealous. (3) Somatic delusions- they think that there are something wrong with there bodies. "Hallucinations" something wrong with nervous system and they have weird hallucinations. They hear voices and see creatures that are after them.

True Face of Christmas

Christmas lights on the street; Christmas tree's already light-up; People busy buying gifts; Parties everywhere; Adult and kids on the street for Christmas Carol; And many more activities during Christmas season. How I wish people will never forget the True Face of Christmas.

What was it 3000 years back? A Star so bright in the sky...that night to light-up a child that has been born of a Virgin in the manger. A promise of GOD's love that night had been brought for us sinners....whom destined to be the saviour of the world. Thousands of angel in heaven singing their praises while rejoicing (even heavens rejoices for the coming of the saviour). GOD who owns rather created the Heavens and Earth show great love and humility to humans who don't deserve to be loved.

This season reminiscent us how great love GOD had shown for us let us not forget the True Face of Christmas a child had been born for us to be save, GOD's great promise! My family and I went there to indulge my kid's day out tour. My son and my daughter do enjoyed it though it was their second time to visit the Manila Ocean Park. They have loved the "Oceanarium" the big aquarium as they say and the "Aquatica" the musical fountain show, both are entertaining to watch. We will definitely come back again to watch and experience the other adventure that we've missed because we went there after in noon.

In our society today the more the thinner the more sexier to look and not to mention the more healthier, due of less fats deposit. On the side of obese or overweight people it was so depressing most specially women, because they were deprived of some sort of things; Good example was riding on a public vehicle like jeepney, buses, Fx taxi, etc. One time I was riding on a jeep when an Obese women wants to rode and when she was inside the jeep people were looking at her constantly enough for her to melt. And when she payed her fare and the driver noticed that she was actually paying for a single seat he told her: "You should pay double because you were occupying two seats." and so the women got angry and refuses to pay, but suddenly she can't do anything because the driver was very persistent on that matter. I felt sad inside because most of us are very inconsiderate for people like her. What if she only had enough one paying seat on her pocket?...ohh sad, but then I also realized the side of the driver he will loss that single fare which he also needed for the day.

Well I think for Obese or Overweight people must take an action not only for their convenience, but also for health matter. Expert also says that the more fats deposit the more unhealthy we are. They also say that a lot of deceases we may have or most prone for. So better to watch our weight before it's too late for us to loose weight or might as well avoid too fatty or unhealthy foods....just go for green foods and fruits. Keep the healthy diet.

I used to go on a salon for hair straightening treatment and I've noticed the strands of my hair fall more than usual before my treatment. It was timely that Pantene offers this hair fall control shampoo and conditioner, so I challenge myself if this will works in my troubled hair. The Rock Toon Fest Grand Show at SM Mall of Asia

So much fun yesterday (Sunday) at SM Mall of Asia at the Music Hall. Watched the young talents from the Rock Toon Fest's top 20 winners nationwide with other selected kids that got chance to model for SM Children's Wear Department. They are definitely cute and lovable with their Rock Toons outfit inspired by all time loved and favorite Cartoon Characters like Disney Princess, Tinker Bell and Barbie clothes for girls while fashion action with tees, hoodies, and jeans Cars, Garfield, Snoopy, and Mickey Mouse for boys. All Original Cartoons Apparel from Children's wear section of SM Department Store.

It was spiced up by kiddie rock band performed lived, while the talents on the runway. The Rock Toon Fest's Grand Fashion Show was also featured dresses with ruffles, lace, tutus shirt for the little girls and sporty for little boys.

All went out well and seems every kids there enjoyed the fest's.

And definitely I won't missed my own apparel...ohh not for me, but for my kids too...surely my son and my daughter will love what I have for them.

Refreshing

I feel so low and tired, but done nothing yet. So I got my digital camera and went out for a walk. They say interacting with nature recharges our body. While walking I saw this small, but captivating bloody Rose flowers. I saw it into two beautiful ways, one is in buds and the other one is about to bloom. Well, I was really delighted in what I saw it's really a WOW for me. Maybe personally I love Roses or I guess I was recharge with this small creature, but very alluring kind of nature. It is simply small, but the joy that brings into my heart was totally refreshing. I feel so refreshed and happy just like eating a bar of chocolate (hmm yummy).

I used to ask those questions all by myself hearing catastrophe around the world, severe and damaging loss of human life because of extreme weather events due of climate change. In the record heatwave and wildfires in Russia, monsoonal flooding in Pakistan, rain-induced landslide in China, the calving of a large iceberg from the Greenland ice sheet and many more. How could be possibly the end of all of these? Well, things now are not getting any better...or maybe it would be getting worse before it get better. This time of feeling so low I was thinking about: "How Dino at their life-time-span vanished?", "Does climate change like this had something to do with them to make them disappear in our time today?", "Does humanity had the large contribution to make this fact getting any worse?" or "Does God permitted all this so-called phenomenon?" All of this in my mind, but who really knows the answer lying beneath on it. Not even genius know all the answer they may only predict and made theories. Still God is so good even in this time of people's great disappointment...He still carved in human's heart a never ending Hope...that all of this will pass and tomorrow will not be this way again. In that we should be learnt to lay down our future on the hands of God. Everyone has seen what He has done; but we can only watch from a distance.

Yesterday my daughter turned nine and as I've watched her...I've realized that she is no more my baby that I used to cuddled before she go to sleep. She even decide little things for herself, like how to celebrate her birthday, She told me that she want's it with her friends into an arcade center and she wants to go along with them. I guess she was just asking my consent and not asking me to go with them. Suddenly it made me laugh and then got quiet scared. I'm no longer dealing a kid and yet not an adult. And what really scares me...Ohh my gosh I'm not getting any younger. Seriously speaking I don't know how to treat growing kids like them and I guess I need an expert to have there advice for this matter.

My daughter has this annoying head lice its sound yacky...right?, but its true. Lot's of mother out there having the same problem like I had now on my daughter I'm pretty sure. This is very itchy specially the small lice bite's whew....it's really annoying. Early this morning I went out to place my vote. I'm excited about this so-called automated election using a Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machine. In the precinct where my name was listed everything went out well. Some sort of problems occurs in other cluster like resting PCOS machine and names that are not on the lists. I guess I'm one of the luckiest who never encounter any problem at all, while voting on my cluster. As I've seen lots of people want to participate in this said historic event the first automated election, of course were expecting some sort of problems that might occur. They say cameras are not allowed inside the premises, but that's not true because I took some of my picture. As I have observed automated election in my place went out well.

Month of May there's a lot of reason to celebrate; 1st it's my birth month; 2nd it is mother's day celebration; 3rd flower festival in Baguio City; lastly Santa Cruzan. All of this event are important in everyone's heart some for personal reason's, others locked with the early tradition's, but best of all Mother's day celebration for me is the most important. Mother's Day was celebrated every 2nd Sunday of the month. I'm a mother of a ten year old boy and an eight year old girl. Motherhood is most lucrative career, it is the most tough job in every career. No day off, no time-out, no resignation, 24/7 on the go for your family....but after the end of the day it's the most fulfilling one. Sometimes you feel very tired, and feel's like you can't give anything anymore. When I feel that I used to go out alone, I go for shopping, parlor or I went out with my friend's to have lunch. And when I go home I feel better, I feel recharge and ready to begin again...another day. I give-up everything for my kid's just to be hands-on for them. I don't want to miss anything while they're growing-up because you can't bring back the hand's of time when it passed. I've watched they're first...first giggle's, first walk, first smile, first talk, first run and every first; And I'm happy in it. I wish I can always watch them, but I know time will move quickly and I'm not going to be with them all the time. But I will always cherished the memories that we have, when they are always asking for Mama....mama...mama that sometimes it's sound's annoying. Hmm...I wish I can stop the hand of time, but that's life. I made a promise to myself that even they're grown-up I'll always be a mom for them it will never stop, As long as they call "Mama" I'll always be there for them no matter what.

Got a New Digital Camera

Happy day got a new digital camera yesterday courtesy of my best-friend Jing. Thanks to you besy, hehehe...finally I have new one today because my old digital camera is not properly working now. Actually it's the same Canon Brand, my old one is 5.0 mega pixels only and my newest is 10.0 mega pixels. I'm happy having it, even it's not the most high-tech Digital-cam nowadays still gives me pleasure of taking shots of my favorites stuff. And as soon as I got it, we immediately took shots with Jing and my daughter Rizza and posted it on my profile in Facebook. What a wonderful day.:D

Oh my Gosh temperature today owww so HOT! Don't know when this high temperature will last, but i guess we are expecting more worse than this...It is extremely increasing God help us, save us from this captivating heat. Our dam was down on its critical level...no enough water and then there's a fire in any places specially in those slum area. Owww this is not getting any better! And I'm thinking how will it be on rainy days? Will it be like...last year the worse among worse, ohhhh what was the future waiting for my kids?...better worse! I'm afraid...We are now experiencing the effect of global warming. Heard the news from iceland, volcanic eruption the Earth crust is extremely hot so it needs to exhaust. I wish we can do some remedies on this but, i guess all these things need to be happened because it is written from the prophecy and it willl be done. Let us keep on praying that GOD will save us from all of this destruction of nature for all humanity.

Today, I was fascinated with my kids because of their awareness of the things around them. My nine year old son told my eight year old daughter while eating their dinner, "Rizza, kelangan ubusin natin ang bawat kanin sa plato kasi natutuyo na ang mga pananim na pagkain ng mga magsasaka". I can't believe my son was aware that there is a drought in our country today. And my eight year old daughter while she's washing the dishes she says: "kelangan natin magtipid ng tubig, kasi natutuyo na ang mga tubig sa ilog at sa mga dam". It was great knowing my kids are aware of the things going on around them inspite of their young age. They show that they care in our environment in their own little way. I'm really proud of my kids. I wish every kid's in this planet has the heart that my kids have, who cares for Mother Earth. For a while I stop and think, "me as an adult what can I contribute to help loosen the burden of our mother Earth due of Global Warming or Climate Change"? My kids have their share...how about us an adult what can we share?

"Summer Vacation"

Summer vacation happy under the sun, but I never ever ever forget to wear my sunblock lotion. It was real fun having under the sun! Last week chances smile to visit in Pangasinan. We spent three days and two nights on two different hotels for a summer vacation. On the first day we visit Hundred Islands in Alaminos; there we went for islands hopping, boating, swimming at Quezon Island and picnic. Ohh...it was a very tiring experience, but very satisfying because of the view and new experiences. On the second day we went to a 405 years old Cathedral Church it was called St. James Cathedral; Bolinao lighthouse; Enchanted cave; Patar's White Sand beach, Again it was a very tiring, but very satisfying experience. On the third day we went to Balingasay River one of the most cleanest river in the Philippines; And like any other vacation time to end, we need to pack up our things on our way back home. It was a great encounter of nature I really appreciate those lovely scenery, but I don't have lots of picture because my digital camera cant capture enough shots under the light...can't understand why. But as far as I'm concerned, that was really a very relaxing vacation I love it, I wish I can come again and have more pretty poses. :D

It protects me while under the sun even for long period of sun exposure, but we have to know how and when it will last into our skin. But there's more to think the happiness of each parent's that son or daughter finally marching on stage to get their diploma specially in college. For parents its one of the greatest achievements. And for every graduates it is the end and the beginning of something new to their life. As I've watched my youngest brother Highschool Graduation Right's last March 20, I reminiscent the feeling of being graduates when I was in that age, it's mixed of happiness and sadness; happy because finally my diploma is in my hand and yet sad because I have to leave behind all those happy days with friends and teachers that made me who I am today. With a teary eye my friends and I give each other a tight hug, saying "goodbye for now, but we see each other again" like a lyrics of the song that usually sung during those days. I really love to remember those days it made my lips create a big smile. I'm sure this graduates will also remember as time passes by. "Happy Graduation, Graduates" I wish you all success in your life time. Keep thinking big and aiming high cheers!

Calamansi is known for whitening properties. Slice a calamansi or a lemon (if available) then rub in on the part of your body that you want to whitens, like elbows, knees, armpit and etc.
(Tawas) white crystal mineral (Potassium Aluminum Sulfate) it whitens also it even remove body odor in feet, armpit and skin rashes. In face and armpit, choose the smooth part of the Tawas, wet tawas and gently rub in to your face or armpit (remember gently it will hurt skin or create scratch if not use gently while rubbing). In body rashes or foot odor, dissolve tawas in luke-warm water and pour into the body after bath or you can soak your feet before pouring it to the body and don't rinse let it dry. It is safe for allergies because its natural.

Falling in love with someone is a great feeling specially young love. It's so aggressive and feels like you're in cloud nine...(giggles). I forget that feeling...but when I see beautiful love story I can still reminiscent. I wonder what love really means, they say Love is sacrifice forgetting oneself for the sake of one's you love; Some made their sacred vows in front of altar later they ended up apart; Some don't make vows but, lasted; Fairy-tale's say at the end of the story "and they live happily ever after"; Is there really such things as happy ending? I wonder how? Because everybody will die...so how can it be that there are such thing as happy ending? But Bible says: "I Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; Love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; Love does not keep a record of wrongs; Love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth; Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail". Hmm I love this verse it seems that it is always good to be in-love...You give it without any expecting in return. I've realize... I should never be afraid of falling in-love over and over again, I must keep loving and feel free to be loved. Anyway we only live once, it is better to love again and be loved than nothing at all.

Finally love is in the air love month fever. Lots of decoration now obviously around especially in the malls, hotels, motels, etc. Even restaurant's having there different promo and packages. Its so nice to see couples hanging around together most specially in park, you can actually feel the air...hmm...love. Ohh its a good thing to feel in-love specially when the one you love gives love back...well well well it doesn't matter if your in-love or not this coming heart day what matter is that you are contented on what you have.

Does My Mother Love Me?

Today I would like to share a sad story. I've heard it early this morning, honestly it breaks my heart as a mother with a daughter to protect. And this story is not a good one to start a new year. A 16 years old girl was raped by her stepped father. All of the sudden this young girl was afraid to tell anyone specially her mother because she is afraid that her mother might choose his stepfather rather than choosing her. And time had come that she was afraid of...her mother learned what happen. But upon knowing the story about her daughter, her mother slap her (take note the mother slap her daughter not the one who did raped her daughter) and just cried but didn't do anything to sue or to get her stepped father in jail. And one thing more so wicked, her mother chooses her stepped father and acted like there's nothing happens to her. It really turned my heart into pieces hearing this story. I thought this kind of story might just happen in a tele-novela or in a movie, but it sucks...it really happen in real life. Ive pity in this child so much, but I cant do anything in it; because her owned mother which supposed to fight for her right was the one who tolerates the rapist of her own child. Maybe she is so in-love with this guy that even in this case she choose him...what a stunning love (sarcasm). I hope this saying would come into her mind that "she can have a husband or lover as many as she can, but a child whom she bore in her womb for 9 months will not replace in anything in this world". I do not judge this kind of mother...maybe she has her reason valid, but whatever it is, i will not understand.

New Year's Resolution

New Year again another new day to begin on the first day of the year. Want to think what are my New Year's resolution? I guess i have to make some list!

I'll water my plants everyday...without waiting ate yvon to water it! hihihi
Cultivating my plants often times.
Waking up early at 4AM.
Cleaning my dishes after every eat.
Atleast i have to take a nap an hour or half an hour a day not 3 hours. (wasting more time in sleeping...)
Wearing my lip balm most of the time to keep my lips moisturizes.
Communicating more often of my closest friends.
Giving enough time for myself to breath fresh air outside every afternoon.
Having more sex! To keep me more looking young....(parental guidance)
Giving more love than usual!

Strawberry My Favorite Fruit

This Strawberry makes me go crazy, it's the only fruit that I used to miss so much when i haven't eat it for a while. When I think of it I got a very watery mouth...hmm very delicious specially icecream flavored it. Here in our country Baguio City produces most of the strawberry because of the climate. When choosing strawberry have the full red colored and avoid that are uncolored. Here are some facts about my fav fruit Strawberry.

Best Christmas Gift, Ever

I wonder what gift would I give to may inaanak, friends, family, my kids, etc...this coming yuletide season. I'm thinking of inexpensive gift but wrapped in a beautiful wrapper; Maybe an expensive gift wrapped in a simple wrapper or a gift that is priceless but not wrapped. Whatever we choose the most important here was a gift that comes from the heart, a gift that cannot be measured of how much?, how beautiful it was?, best thing was the thought of sharing no matter how big or small our presence. Hmm let us also not forget how God gave His priceless gift that has not been wrapped. It is the most beautiful gift that human life ever received. Let us not forget the true essence of this seasons...It is God love's for us that even we don't deserve this gift, He still gave it for us.... How wonderful this gift we have, His only begotten son. That sometimes or should i rather say most of the time we took for granted because it is unwrapped but if we try to look it in we see how great that give we have.

Divisoria Shopping?

Christmas is approaching haayy....time to begin your list for shopping. List of your inaanak, friends and planning for early shopping to buy gift for them. You should not be left behind, but you have to think of your budget. You have to plan ahead where you can buy your gift that has quality and reasonable prices, ohhh it's hard to say quality, but cheaper (that's why you are planning). Ask for me sometimes I shop in Divisoria you can also find good stuff there as long as you know how to choose carefully. I used to go in 168 in Divisoria, there you can find imported and good stuff in a reasonable prices. But you have to be early because there's a lots of people when you came late in the morning. People there are keep on coming and coming specially in this seasons. When I come there, I used to have some list, so I would know how many kids will I consider to buy including their age. They say: "be careful also to wear so many accessories while you were shopping, you should dress-up simple because so many thief there and pick pockets". But still I want to do my shopping at 168 in Divisoria. It was really a great experience buying my own stuff there.(",)

The Power of Prayer

Bible says that prayer can move mountains. We pray for faith for all circumstances, most especially in the bad ones where we are tempted to doubt God's presence. God is always in control. Trials are really a reaffirmation of God's love, although they come to us wrapped differently. Yeah everybody was tempted, but not more than our strength. God is fair, He will not give us trials more superior than our strength. For everything happens for a reason's. Maybe now we don't see what it means into our life because we are in great pain trying to overcome what we have right now, but sooner we will understand why those things need should happened. I too don't have that much patience especially while I'm in pain, but in a way of process it can be learned. Even in the dark side of our life we must trust God, that in a way out there- there is light. We have to pray and seek God's presence. Most specially when trials is on our face trying to swallow us a whole, just close your eyes and trust God and leave it all to Him. And when you open your eyes you will see that it is all right, then you realize how powerful your prayer is.

They say: "Life is short" really it was. We are all traveler's in this world and life is one great journey. In our life people come and people go, and few of them remain into our heart. But one thing I have learned that fate has given us chance to show our feeling and a chance to say how much you love and care for the people you love most. Don't let it pass for we live a short life. We never knew what happens next, today they are still with us, but tomorrow gone, who knows about it? Today say: "I love You" to all the people you love most, sometimes it's not enough that we only show it, we also have to say how much we love them. Show also you care for them it's also not enough that we say it, but we have to show some proof that we really do love and care for them. For we live a life that is short and that in right time journey ends.

Stages of Grief

How would you define grief? -The loss of someone or something to which a bond was form; Persons reassess personal definitions in the face of great pain. There are stages of grieving: denial, anger, grief and acceptance. Denial when you say: "this isn't happening to me"; Anger when you say "why is this happening to me"; Grief when you feel your heartaches so much that seems it's the only thing you see; Acceptance when you feel that your ready for whatever it takes now. Once you reach the stage of acceptance, you will begin to feel whole again. When you are feeling of your heartache shows you're in grief stage. You have made a lot of progress. If your feeling anger that's okey, it tends to overlap. Moving forward is to embrace your pain. If you feel like crying go ahead . It takes more courage to shed tears than to swallow them. Have the humility to cry, have the strength to weep for as long you need to. Feel your pain, just let it come to you. Think what you've lost, feel the emptiness and heaviness into your heart. Weep as long as you feel there's drop of pain left inside you, soak it out it doesn't matter how long it takes, stop only when you feel better. Don't be in a hurry have patience...time will heal every wound no matter how deep- it will surely heals in God's perfect time. In my life I have so much...and in these stages out of my knowledge I have been through it. I always admire people after they fall down they always have the courage to stand up where they fell and move forward and begin again. Anyway what happened- it happens we cannot change it, the only thing we can do is to accept things as it is.

November 1st

I used to light up candle's in-front of our doorstep at home every 1st day of November. I do it for my relatives and others soul that has been forgotten with their loved ones. But two years ago it changes because now I light up a candle also for my dad, who passed away at the age of 52 last October 3, 2007. Hmmm...I miss my dad so much. I grow up without him because he used to work abroad away from us. We don't have so much time to spend together while growing up and when he finally decided not to work abroad just a little time we spent together and then he pass away. I felt deep sadness remembering without him now, but when I saw these kids in costumes with a small basket with different sort of candies having some fun out of the blue it cheers me up. I've realized that I have to move forward life must goes on, no matter what....anyway life is really like that, there are no happy ending.:(

Bonding Time

Bonding time with my family, were having a foot massage. Looks like Rico my eldest having fun with it and my daughter Rizza feels like someones tickling her down there. Hmm feels so good having great bonding time with my kids and my husband Ric. Look at those precious smile...it's priceless, I'm glad GOD had given me a chance to have it. I've gave up everything for them including my own personal dreams and aspiration in life, now they are my life. Sometimes I think if it is right or worthy after all because my life ended up and start it with them...but when I see their smile with glow in their eyes I can that it is all worthy. :)

Good Food for Kids

Now a day's kids are very choosy on what to eat, but as a mom of two kids I always want to know if my kids are eating right; Whether it is good or junk food. I used to choose what my kids should eat whether it is a meal, merienda, or baon for school. In the morning I cook them greasy food like bacon, egg, or ham because oily food's help them gain energy that must be needed for a busy day, aside from it is the most important meal of the day. And for baon in school I gave them sandwich, biscuits, water, tetra pack juice, and sometimes a piece of fruit. I used to have their water and I tell them to drink a lot of it, for them to avoid dehydrated. I don't let them drink anywhere except for bottled water. It's really a tough job being a mom, you have to think every day all of this stuff for them to make sure that they are eating the right food.:D

       Nagdulot ng napakalakas na ulan at matinding pag baha sa kalakhang Maynila at sa karatig probinsya ang bagyong Ondoy noong ika-26 ng Setyembre, 2009. Sa loob ng siyam na oras, nagbaha sa iba't ibang lugar at nagbunga ito ng pagkasawi ng 288 katao at pagkawala ng tahanan ng maraming Pilipino. Pagkatapos manalasa sa Pilipinas, dumaan ito sa Biyetnam, Kambodiya at Laos at nagdala ito ng malaking pinsala sa mga bansang yaon. Isa ito sa pinaka malakas na bagyong dumaan sa Pilipinas....isa rin itong malungkot na pangyayari sa aking mga kababayan na nawalan ng tahanan, mahal sa buhay, ng mga ari arian higit lalo higit sa mga maralita.
       Nasaksihan ko ang paglaki ng ilog na malapit sa aming tahanan, mistula itong karagatan at may napalakas na alon na labis na nagngangalit. Sometimes we pretend to be someone we're not, we think that we are more beautiful or lovelier in eyes of other if we pretend someone else we are not. Some people think that they are not to be loved because they are overweight, maybe too short for normal height, not good looking, etc. Oh please these are all physical and there are more valuable than this; Just be yourself. But no matter what, we should always remember that we are all unique individuals all created equal with talents so be not bothered by physical aspect after all it is how we live our life's that make us remarkable. We can stay beautiful in our own way just feel free of it and make positive thoughts in your mind. Love yourself...this is the great gift we can give to ourselves. How? Do things you love to do, but remember to do it without stepping in others foot; Show respect in every individual; And love your family. I was inspired by this food that may fight Arthritis. Hence, it was not me that suffering on it, it just happen last night I saw my husband grandmother suffering from it and I saw her struggling and in great pain on it. She almost scream and grasping my hands because of pain, she told me that her veins from her leg muscle are like hard woods that keep on going up and up. And her daughter bring some lukewarm water in a small basin with salt and soak her left foot in it. They say that it can relieve the pain from her vein to her muscle and after that they spread some liniment cream on it. Whew...that was so difficult for me to watch and I come to realized what if I grow old and suffer from it...it really feels me more weak then, so I decided to surf some stuff from lifescript.com how to prevent it or maybe some sort of relieve that makes their diet.

Peace of mind is the greatest asset we can have for happy living and we can only achieve this by having a life with God. This is an inner victory which only comes from knowing God intimately, and knowing Him is the beginning of Wisdom, as we strive our daily life even in little things we all need this so-called wisdom.
When I was younger I used to dream a lot and achieve a lot. Nobody and nothing can stop me for having what I really wanted in life. Just to say that I achieve my goals and I'm successful I do whatever I want to do, but there was certain circumstances that come along, that I was must used my wisdom from my knowledge. In that certain time I can't let go of it, knowing that it will do good for me...only for me; Without thinking other people that may hurt. That's my knowledge...things that matter only for me and would only benefits me, but other may suffer. Deep inside I was struggling and I can't help it, I know what's right from what is wrong, but I can't help it, but keep on doing what I really want even it may cause pain to other. Suddenly I ask God to enlighten my decision, and without noticing that following what GOD wisdom may cause me so much pain...and yet feeling relieve and success. And now I'm living my life with confident that I succeeded that challenge once in my life; because I followed my wisdom that comes from God, I praise Him because He actually curved it into my heart and now I'm living a happy life that God had chosen for me to live.
